Position Overview

As a Corporate M&A Partner, you will play a crucial role in managing high-profile mergers and acquisitions, collaborating with cross-border teams to deliver innovative legal solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering strong client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers, while staying at the forefront of market trends in corporate law.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead complex corporate M&A transactions, providing strategic legal advice to clients throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Collaborate with international teams to deliver integrated legal solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding clients' unique business needs and objectives
  • Mentor and support junior lawyers and associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development
  • Stay abreast of market trends and developments in corporate law, contributing to the firm's thought leadership and business development initiatives
  • Assist in growing key clients in the tech and/or life sciences space

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions
  • Strong understanding of key industries, including financial institutions, energy, infrastructure, and technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to diverse cultural contexts and time zones
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and a strong focus on client service, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovative thinking
