Position Overview

As a Patent Litigation Partner, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing patent prosecution matters for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for resolving complex patent disputes across the technology space, developing strategic plans for patent filing and prosecution, and providing expert advice on patentability, infringement, and enforcement issues. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and staff, cultivate strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm's growth and reputation in the intellectual property domain.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead patent prosecution matters for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Resolve intricate patent disputes across various technology sectors
• Formulate and execute strategic plans for patent filing and prosecution, aligning with clients' business objectives
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide expert guidance on patentability, infringement, and enforcement matters
• Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff in patent law practices, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and enhancing client satisfaction

Requirements

• Extensive experience in patent litigation, with a minimum of 8-10 years in a law firm or corporate legal environment
• Proven track record of managing complex patent portfolios and providing strategic advice to clients
• Experience with IPRs and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trials and Appeals Board (PTAB)
• Strong understanding of intellectual property law and patent regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
