Position Overview

As a Private Equity Associate Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in advising private equity funds, family offices, corporates, and strategic investors on a wide range of cross-border investment transactions. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile deals, including leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, club deals, growth equity, recapitalizations, and transactions in the distressed and turnaround sphere.

Responsibilities

  • Advise private equity funds and financial sponsors on acquisitions, disposals, take privates, restructurings, and capital raises
  • Provide strategic legal advice on corporate M&A transactions
  • Manage complex transactions from start to finish
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and legal developments in the private equity space

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with a strong background in UK private equity law
  • 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
